To manage travel during the COVID-19 pandemic, travellers entering Singapore will be subject to health-related protocols that are calibrated based on the traveller’s vaccination status and travel history. a. Returning Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents

Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PRs) can enter Singapore from any overseas country/region without an Entry Approval. However, SC/PRs should read the requirements of the relevant SafeTravel Lanes below, as they will be subject to administrative and health measures corresponding with their travel history and SafeTravel Lane used.

  • Vaccinated Travel Lane (Air) – Quarantine-free measures if travelling by flight from a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) country/region (see Table below), is fully vaccinated and able to satisfy the travel conditions such as use of designated VTL flight.
  • Vaccinated Travel Lane (Land) - Quarantine-free measures if fully vaccinated and travelling by designated VTL bus from Malaysia via the Causeway.
  • Vaccinated Travel Lane (Sea) - Quarantine-free measures if fully vaccinated and travelling by designated VTL ferry from Indonesia.
  • Returning Singapore Citizen and Permanent Resident Lane – Prevailing health measures apply including Stay Home Notice, depending on travel history. Travellers who do not fulfil Vaccinated Travel Lane requirements will be subject to these prevailing measures by default.
  • Vaccinated & Recently Recovered Traveller Protocol - Fully vaccinated and able to prove recovery from a COVID-19 infection between 7 – 90 days before departure for Singapore.

    Long-Term Pass Holders (excluding Work Permit holders) including In-Principle Approval pass holders arriving in Singapore no longer need an entry approval to enter Singapore, if they can present a valid pass and proof of vaccination during pre-boarding or immigration checks.

    All Long-Term Pass Holders should read the requirements of the relevant SafeTravel Lanes below carefully as they will be subject to administrative and health measures corresponding with their travel history and SafeTravel Lane used.

  • Vaccinated Travel Lane (Air) – Quarantine-free measures if travelling by flight from a Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) country/region (see Table below), is fully vaccinated and able to satisfy the travel conditions such as use of designated VTL flight. Work Permit holders (excluding females and Malaysians) working in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process sectors are not allowed to travel under the VTLs.
  • Vaccinated Travel Lane (Land) - Quarantine-free measures if fully vaccinated and travelling by designated VTL bus from Malaysia via the Causeway. Work Permit holders (excluding females and Malaysians) working in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process sectors are not allowed to travel under the VTLs.
  • Vaccinated Travel Lane (Sea) - Quarantine-free measures if fully vaccinated and travelling by designated VTL ferry from Indonesia. Work Permit holders (excluding females and Malaysians) working in the Construction, Marine Shipyard and Process sectors are not allowed to travel under the VTLs.
  • Work Pass Holder General Lane- MOM Long-Term Pass Holders who are unable to fulfil VTL requirements, and all Work Permit holders. Vaccination Requirements apply. Prevailing health measures apply including Stay Home Notice, depending on travel history.
  • Student’s Pass Holder Lane – Student’s Pass Holders or their accompanying family members who are unable to fulfil VTL requirements. Vaccination requirements apply. Prevailing health measures apply including Stay Home Notice, depending on travel history.
  • Familial Ties Lane – Long-Term Pass Holders with immediate family in Singapore by who are unable to fulfil VTL requirements. Prevailing health measures apply including Stay Home Notice, depending on travel history.
  • Periodic Commuting Arrangement – For workers travelling from Malaysia via land. Entry approvals and prevailing health measures apply.
  • Vaccinated & Recently Recovered Traveller Protocol - Fully vaccinated and able to prove recovery from a COVID-19 infection between 7 – 90 days before departure for Singapore.
